I bought from Back to Basic Toys, with No problems at all. We made a covered wooden bridge and a log cabin, with his Thomas the trains running throughout.I guess the carry case could be a little heavy if your a limp wrist whiny weakling, but to me, I like the solid feel of a well made box.Great set. I like the real wood roof pieces, and plan on adding to the set. Got this set for My Son. Although He's a bit young (3), I have fun helping him build stuff.
The grandkids are having a ball. What fun these are. Had them as a kid and still enjoy building with them.
Still well made. Reminds me of the same logs I played with as a kid 40+ years ago.
It seems that lincoln logs does not offer that anymore.just like the marketing techniques of most toys today. I realized from the beginning that I was paying for a large heavy box but I was dissapointed in the lack of variety of pieces. I had searched for a collection of lincoln logs that could be used just with the child's imagination and was not so specific for a particular project.
